Resumo: In this work to present the reasons by which all events should have an OPC for the complexities of events, their characteristics and particularities, their diversity and multiple reasons that make events the most complex of all modalities of tourism. The fact that to be able to events it is necessary to see them from different positions is evidence of their complexity.          Their complexity is bigger since each Event is a transitory and collective enterprise. But each event is also a product that begins to be designed since they begin the process to capture a venue or to carry out an event of your own design and it only ends some weeks after having finish the event. As a product, it is governed by the same laws of the marketing like any other product is governed by what demands an appropriate design, roads, times, supports and correct mechanisms for its promotion and to achieve its commercialization, that is to say, to present it well to sell it well.          Thus the importance of always having an OPC who dominates the matter and has the practice in the organization of events, who knows how to apply the necessary tools, the appropriate procedures, the promotion programs and their more appropriate ways according to the thematic of each event and other mechanisms. Only a professional with experience can make possible the organization of a successful event that is what is detailed here.
