Resumo: This article describes and discusses the scientific production that relates tourism to governance in the 2013-2019 period. The purpose is to glimpse the different perspectives of governance and its main theoretical and empirical contributions to the tourist field. Through a semi systematic review and the content analysis technique, nine perspectives were identified: Good governance, governance networks, metagovernance, Tourism Destination Governance, local, territorial, multilevel, corporate, and environmental governance. It is concluded that, on the one hand, traditional themes such as sustainability, local development and territoriality predominate in the literature; but on the other, researchers are venturing into cutting-edge issues such as cross boarder governance, metagovernance and networks. This variety of perspectives that link governance to tourism has caused dispersion in their contributions, which has limited the consolidation of tourism and governance as a field of study.
