Resumo: Nowadays, one of the main global challenges is climate change and, regarding to tourism, this is one of the most exposed sectors to this phenomenon. The present research aims to analyze what is the perception of future Secondary Education teachers related to climate change. Based on the data obtained from 147 future teachers of Geography (Universities of Valencia and Murcia), results indicate that, in their opinion, the causes of climate change have to do with human action. Regarding to the consequences, they perceive natural disasters, sea level rise, etc., which, at the same time, coincide with the effects that happen in their territory (mediterranean coast). This work, carried out on the Spanish Mediterranean coast, obtains information from the perspective of future teachers, a population with important repercussion due to their work educating and raising awareness on future citizens.
