Resumo: As atividades urbanas são partes do fenômeno urbano e essenciais para a sua compreensão (KRAFTA, 2014). Cada atividade urbana possui características específicas e é capaz de alterar o local onde será implantada, principalmente as atividades especiais, como hotéis, que têm a capacidade de gerar mais conflitos com a área em que será implantada e sendo assim, são necessários maiores cuidados com as possíveis aglomerações e instalações. Trata-se de uma pesquisa bibliográfica e documental cujo objetivo principal é analisar a dinâmica urbana, ocupação do solo e forma de implantação de atividades especiais, levando em consideração os leitos hoteleiros disponíveis na cidade de Gramado no Rio Grande do Sul, a localização e o atendimento de infraestrutura urbana disponível no município, analisando qual o impacto que estes fatores podem causar no setor do turismo e na qualidade de vida da população local.Palavras-chave: Atividades urbanas. Each urban activity has specific characteristics and is capable of altering the area in which they will be installed, principally special activities, such as hotels, which have the capacity to generate more conflicts with the area in which they will be implemented and, therefore, are necessary greater care with possible agglomerations and installations. This essay is a bibliographic and documentary research whose the main objective is to analyze the urban dynamics, land occupation and form of implementation of special activities, taking into account the hotel beds available in the city of Gramado in Rio Grande do Sul, the location and the service of urban infrastructure available in the municipality, analyzing the impact that these factors can cause in the tourism sector and in the quality of life of the local population.Keywords: Urban activities.
