Resumo: Rural tourism is an alternative within conventional tourism that, through an appropriate organization, allows them to take advantage of the environment and specifically the tourist resources they have and their popular culture as a central part of their tourism offer. The objective of the research is to analyze the influence of rural tourism as a dynamic agent of the local economic development of Huácar in Huánuco, promoting the generation of greater dynamics and diversity of its productive activities. The survey was applied to the inhabitants of the area with a sample of 196, obtaining in the results that there is direct influence of rural tourism as an agent that boosts the economic development of the families of the district of Huácar, generating positive impacts, although of little consideration in favor of residents, improving their income, employment, housing conditions ..
