Resumo: The cultural tourist itineraries that are designed have, in most cases, one of their focuses of attention placed on the activity of a museum. This communication analyses how the museum's content, its program and its message finally reach the recipients, the visitors.      This will deepen the modus operandi, that is, the current relationship between the written press and the activity of the museum, namely, how knowledge is transferred from one institution to another to discover why on many occasions, a certain exhibition has not been publicized as it was expected and why the information is 'almost hidden' in those last pages of a newspaper.      And this study will answer, among others, many of the questions we have all asked ourselves: if news about a museum issue may appear or not on a cover, or what can be done from the museum to attract more visitors. As well as, if the public really understands the museum they visit.      And all this under a dual perspective: from the museum to society and vice versa, from the press to the museum, as if it were a cultural bridge that can be crossed both ways, in an almost literary vision that allows us to know with certainty, if the heritage and legacy of the museum that is part of our identity, is really exposed with accessible and understandable elements to all citizens.
