Resumo: The present study has the purpose of knowing the variables that are significantly related to the turnover of personnel in the hotel sector. To achieve this, 206 workers belonging to the Mexican Association of Hotels and Motels of Palenque A.C. were found, obtaining that the workers present a low level of affective and normative organizational commitment. Concluding that the lack of organizational commitment is the main reason that derives in the labor separation between the worker and the company dedicated to the lodging service in the City of Palenque, Chiapas, Mexico.
