Resumo: Managing the archaeological heritage involves attending to four fundamental pillars: research, protection, conservation and dissemination. This last pillar, dissemination, is the focus of the research presented here. The main objective sought with the development of this research is the analysis of the diffusion of the archaeological sites of the province of Huelva through the pilot study of four of the most important sites of this, as they are: “Dolmen de Soto”, “Tejada La Vieja”, “Saltés” and the Hispano-Roman city of Arucci-Turobriga. This analysis has allowed the definition of a methodology of analysis of the diffusion of an archaeological site extrapolable to the rest of the existing ones in the province. The methodology chosen for the development of this research is case study. In the first stage, fieldwork and bibliographic research were carried out. Fieldwork has consisted of gathering information on the dissemination of each of the selected sites: through site visits for in situ dissemination documentation; requesting information from the technicians in charge of managing it, if any; searching in the web environment of the online dissemination carried out.  After an individualized study of each case, a comparative analysis was carried out among the case studies in order to examine the variables that affect the degree of dissemination of an archaeological site.
