Resumo: The purpose of this work was to conduct a theoretical review of information and communication technologies and their application in tourism to conserve the environment. ICT represents a growing opportunity for environmental protection, showing in a viable way the principle of information for action, both at a political, business or social level. The subject studied addresses the context of environmental education and the usefulness of ICT in tourism. The research was descriptive documentary and the analytical method is used. The study provides an opportunity for researchers since the technologies used for tourism activity can not only facilitate people's lives, but also promote changes in habits so far from living together in the environment in which they live and look around with harmony and a conservative thought of them.
