Resumo: In the city of Ri´o Turbio, Patagonia Argentina is found the state coal mine of YCRT (Yacimientos Carboniferos Rio Turbio), whose camp gave rise to the current city. Within the industrial site of the mine, the YCRT Museum-School is located, which summarizes in its various rooms the history of the Site and in a certain way of the locality, through equipment, tools, photographs, documents, and an attractive front of Demonstration work that allows the visitor to experience the conditions of the mine interior in a way of the underground mine. The aim is to publicize this museum and include it in the tourist circuits under study and, in turn, propose improvements that make it attractive within the mining tourism modality (industrial tourism), thus taking advantage of the knowledge of decades of work and the strong sense of belonging to the town with mining work, which after seven decades is still the main source of income in the area. The link of the mining activity with the so-called industrial cities is highlighted, as well as the location of the museum in a transit zone between two international tourist centers such as Calafate (Argentina) and Puerto Natales (Chile).
