Resumo: COVID-19 is having a significant impact on Spanish tourism. Hence, the objective of this research is to analyze this aspect in the sustainability of the hotel sector through the case of the Community of Madrid (Spain). To this end, a qualitative research has been carried out (to describe and understand the impact of the coronavirus on the sustainability of the hotel sector) based on an exploratory analysis (which has allowed us to get closer to the topic discussed) and on a content analysis (to determine the sustainability of hotel companies and know the trends of new forms of tourism through changes in their triple profit account).
