Resumo: Globally, the tourism sector has been greatly affected by the pandemic due to the social confinement, in the face of this situation, tourism is a key sector for social, economic, and cultural development; therefore the benefits of this activity are incalculable. This document presents reflections as well as an analysis of the current context of language tourism which is a relatively new field of study. The objective of this paper is to deepen the existing knowledge on the subject and to analyze the potential of language tourism and the state of the art of this important segment of cultural tourism.
