Resumo: RESUMO: O estudo teve por objetivo avaliar a existência de espaços para os jogosespontâneos e motores no tempo de recreio escolar e os tipos de jogos realizados nessetempo/espaço. A pesquisa foi desenvolvida em 14 escolas da Rede Municipal de Ensinode Campo Grande – MS, sendo duas de cada região (Segredo, Prosa, Bandeira,Anhanduizinho, Lagoa, Imbirussu e Centro). A técnica de investigação adotada foi aobservação sistematizada, utilizando como instrumento um Diário de Campo. Osresultados mostram que não existe nenhum tipo de espaço criado especificamente para ojogo no recreio escolar, fazendo com que a vivência dos jogos espontâneos e motores selimitem à utilização das quadras (quando o acesso é permitido) e pátios. Dentre asatividades, as brincadeiras de luta foram as mais realizadas. Conclui-se que, as escolasavaliadas não têm dado a merecida atenção à importância da criação e disponibilizaçãode espaços para os jogos no recreio escolar, podendo a predominância das brincadeirasde luta ser um reflexo da carência espacial.PROPER PLACES FOR GAME ON THE SCHOOL BREAKTIME ANDTHE FIGHT “GAMES” OCCURRENCEABSTRACT: The aim of this study was to evaluate the existence of a proper place todevelop spontaneous and motor games on the school break time and the kinds of gamesthat occur on this time/space. The research took place on 14 schools of the CampoGrande – MS City Public School System, two schools on each of the city regions(Segredo, Prosa, Bandeira, Anhanduizinho, Lagoa, Imbirussu and Centro). The usedresearch investigation technique was the systematized observation, using a Diary as itstool. The results showed that there isn’t a proper place specifically created to thedevelopment of games on the school breaktime, that make students use the sports courtsand the social playgrounds. Beyond the activities developed, it could be seen that thefight games were the most used. It was concluded that the evaluated schools do not give the desirable attention to the importance of the creation and disponibilization of properplaces to games on the school breaktime, and the predominancy of the fight games is aconsequence of this proper place lack.
