Resumo: Currently in Mexico the action of man has generated environmental degradation, loss and decay of natural environments with tourist potential, derived from an inadequate interrelation within society and the lack of observance from the academy through various areas of research. Therefore, it is presented how different disciplines interact through research, laboratory, studies and analysis of the geographical, hydrogeological environment, land use, environmental and social diagnosis, for the recovery of a natural environment (San Lorenzo Toxico, State of Mexico). Altered and unaltered soil samplings and permeability tests were carried out to study the adaptation of plant species taking the environmental diagnosis as a reference, in addition to evaluating tourist services surveys. It was obtained that a forest and soil recovery is necessary, with the possibility of implementing mixed recreational spaces in various areas, without altering the existing natural environment. More than one discipline intervenes in the creation of public spaces, where adequate planning, organization and administration of natural resources and environments allows the development of vulnerable societies.
