Resumo: RESUMO: Os impactos ambientais provenientes pelas ações humanas, bem como, fonte de uma sociedade capitalista tornou-se uma preocupação e desafio quando o assunto perpassa para a sobrevivência das próximas gerações. As Áreas Naturais Protegidas - ANP corresponde como uma alternativa primordial para a preservação dos recursos naturais, bem como, espaços de lazer e recreação da população local, visitantes e turistas, no entanto, percebe-se que esses territórios quando estão situados no contexto urbano, sobretudo, lugares com histórico de violência urbana, por mais que sejam legalmente protegidos por meio de políticas públicas ambientais, muitas dessas ANP tem sido alvo constante de crimes ambientais e sociais, sendo assim, o objetivo principal dessa pesquisa consiste em identificar episódios de violência urbana no Parque Estadual do Utinga localizado em Belém do Estado do Pará, além disso, buscou-se investigar as ações discutidas e realizadas no contexto do Conselho Gestor - CG do parque para o fortalecimento da segurança ambiental, dos visitantes e turistas. Como procedimento metodológico utilizou-se de pesquisa bibliográfica, de caráter exploratório e descritivo, foram realizadas entrevistas semiestruturadas in loco com 7 conselheiros e também a análise documental de atas de reuniões de 2015 a 2017 do CG. Contudo, foi possível identificar episódios ocorridos no parque relacionados a violência criminal e também de caráter ambiental. Além disso, notou-se que discussões sobre a violência e segurança foram escassas no âmbito do CG do Utinga. Palavras-chave: Áreas Naturais Protegidas; Parque do Utinga/PA; Violência; Governança.
ABSTRACT: The environmental impacts caused by human actions, as well as the source of a capitalist society, have become a concern and a challenge when the subject pertains to the survival of the next generations. The Natural Protected Areas - NPAs correspond as a primary alternative for the preservation of natural resources, as well as spaces for leisure and recreation for the local population, visitors and tourists, however, it is noticed that these territories when they are located in the urban context, especially places with a history of urban violence, even though they are legally protected through environmental public policies, many of these NPAs have been constant target of environmental and social crimes, thus, the main objective of this research is to identify episodes of urban violence in the no Parque Estadual do Utinga located in Belém, Pará State, in addition, we sought to investigate the actions discussed and carried out in the context of the Management Council - GC of the park to strengthen the environmental safety of visitors and tourists. The methodological procedure used was bibliographic research, of exploratory and descriptive nature, semi-structured interviews were conducted in loco with 7 councilors and also the documentary analysis of minutes of GC meetings from 2015 to 2017. However, it was possible to identify episodes that occurred in the park related to criminal violence and also of an environmental nature. Furthermore, it was noted that discussions about violence and safety were scarce in the scope of the Utinga GC. Keywords: Natural Protected Areas; Parque Estadual do Utinga; Violence; Governance.
