Resumo: This paper reinterprets these transformations, departing from notions of ‘relational space’, re-conceptualizing urban spaces as mobile and relational, continuously reconstructed and reground ed by flows of people, knowledge, and capital. We examine the representations of mobility and the embodied mobile practices in relation to the ongoing mutation of a Barcelona's neigh borhood, in which the urban transformations linked to the 1992 Olympic Games, the renewal of the waterfront and the later development of a hi-tech cluster has triggered a profound and long-lasting process of social change.
