Resumo: Architectural, artistic, historical, urban, spiritual and social values are the groundwork for heritage interpretation programmes. This work addresses the knowledge of these values in relation to religious heritage and how, in addition to the experiential understanding and enjoyment of the assets, heritage interpretation can be used as a tool to help in the management of the conservation of monuments and visitors. These premises have been applied to the case of Valencia Cathedral (Spain).
