Resumo: The present article analyses the current situation of nature tourism at the Protected forest reserve (PFR ) Honda brook, Parrado and Buque spurs through surveying the tourist attractions, visitors profiles, semi-structured interviews, the elaboration of a thematic map of conflict regarding land use and tourism practices and a SWOT analysis. The results found that the main nature tourism activity is ecoturism, practiced by women in a greater proportion, and adventure tourism, which is many practiced by men. The study area has five strategic locations where tourism activities can be carried on and are visited by young people practicing extreme sports and adults looking for a place to rest, sightseeing or bushwalking; As for the map elaborated, it was established that, due to urban expansion, the forest has been modified leaving patches within agricultural areas and cattle grasslands; Through the SWOT analysis, the lack of environmental awareness of visitors and residents, the lack of publicity and an information booth were considered. In order to solve these problems, different strategies are proposed to be carried out in this important area, not only for tourism but for the ecosystem.
