Resumo: The coffe and cocoa landscape of Chiapas and Tabasco is located in southern Mexico, forming part of the Grijalva-Usumacinta, Costa de Chiapas and Coatzacoalcos hydrological regions. It has an área of 5,064,788 hectares and is made up of 9 regions of the state of Chiapas and 4 regions of the state of Tabasco. This research aims to contribute to: a) improving the conservation of biodiversity and ecological connectivity in the landscape; b) the reduction of threats to natural habitats in protected areas and areas of importance for conservation in the landscape and; c) the improvement of the livelihoods of the communities through a sustainable use of the resources of the territory. The importance of this landscape lies in its function as reservoirs and sources of biocultural diversity and its associated ecosystem services; being structural elements of the jungle and forest landscape that serve as biological and tourist corridors. Currently, the landscape is affected by deforestation and changes in land use, public policies incompatible with sustainable development, as well as unfavorable agricultural markets for the development of communities and producer organizations.
