Resumo: From the different advances in the subject of artificial intelligence in the tourism sector, the object of this study arises, to identify the trends in the use of artificial intelligence in the tourism sector. For this, a bibliometric analysis is used from the 167 publications obtained using the PRISMA checklist. In the results, the most relevant actors were identified, as well as the thematic evolution per year and the research trends. In addition, a research agenda is presented with future lines of research. Among the conclusions, the role that artificial intelligence plays in the quality and efficiency of automation of services in the tourism industry and the use of Robots and Machine Learning are highlighted as thematic trends that mark the starting point of new approaches to research on this topic.
