Resumo: The present research, of a theoretical nature, performs a systematic review of some basic elements of the relationship between green growth and tourism, with the purpose of reflecting on the inference of eco innovations and their contribution to compliance with the green growth guidelines, which stands out the areas of opportunity and advantages that they would offer to nature and to the social and business sectors. Based on this analysis, that follows from the review of the literature, this study presents a series of recommendations for the development of the tourism sector, in order to strengthen its competitiveness and safeguard the common ecological heritage.
