Resumo: The literature recognizes that the support provided by higher education institutions, the family and society play an essential role in the formation of students' entrepreneurial intentions. Likewise, the competencies that these students manage to acquire turn out to be, as a whole, determining factors in the formation of attitudes towards entrepreneurial activities. The purpose of this work is to validate a measurement scale on the support, competencies and attitudes for entrepreneurship of tourism students, which determines their capacity to carry out a business. The reliability and validity of the constructs were tested with a sample of 473 students. The results show that internal consistency is satisfied both globally and for each of the dimensions, whose factors are ordered according to the literature through factor analysis. The article offers alternatives towards the construction of theoretical models that can explain the phenomenon, in the areas of education, management and tourism.
