Resumo: In Mexico, the reopening of tourist activity will be maintained with a series of specific guidelines focused on preventing and minimizing the risk of contagion through measures of personal hygiene, the environment and healthy distance as a priority in the new normality. The objective of this research is to analyze the tourist regulations of Mexico based on the COVID-19 disease in relation to the quality of the service. The approach is qualitative of documentary type, using the technique of content analysis in relation to tourism regulations for companies in the tourism sector in the face of health contingency and the categories selected with the quality of service. As a result, it is shown that tourism regulations are focused on the quality assurance stage and focus on the physical and human dimension. Lines of research are glimpsed that help companies move to a stage of total quality management.
