Resumo: Regenerative tourism is an emerging vision that invites us to go beyond the concept of tourism sustainability with a more holistic approach whose fundamental purpose is the environmental and social regeneration of the territories. The literature consulted shows that the lack of conceptual development and understanding of its foundations, such as frameworks and tools to guide thinking and practice, makes its concrete application difficult. Precisely, the Global Regenerative Tourism Initiative (IGTR) designed and launched the Flow Map in 2021, a diagnostic and design tool for regenerative tourism, which helps guide entrepreneurs and destination managers in their efforts to understand and implement their principles in their destinations and tourism products. The method used is simultaneously qualitative, quantitative, inductive and interpretive based on a questionnaire and an in-depth interview, and also in the case study of the Reconextour in Léon, Guanajuato. The results show the perception of usefulness of this tool, demonstrating that it serves as a methodological guide to evaluate and implement projects based on regenerative tourism principles with a bioanthropocentric approach.
