Resumo: The study of entrepreneurship has become essential in the tourism discipline since it has traditionally been seen as an immediate way to deal with economic crises; However, in the face of other types of events such as the one experienced during the pandemic in recent years, creating jobs and improving the financial situation requires developing other organizational capacities, including innovation and sustainability. Thus, this research aims to advance knowledge about sustainable tourism ventures, which identify new thematic trends that serve as a basis for future studies on the subject. To achieve this objective, scientific production was analyzed through the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA) method during the period between 2014 and 2022, using the keywords 'sustainable entrepreneurship' and 'tourism' in the Scopus database. Four interpretive patterns and research trends were recognized: a) tourism social entrepreneurship, b) entrepreneurship, c) entrepreneurship from a gender perspective, and d) sustainable entrepreneurship management. The conclusions leave evidence that the sustainable tourism venture is constituted as a solution to social problems, the search for gender equality, and the various motivations that are increasingly inclusive in rural communities.
