Resumo: The article presents a retrospective analysis of inflation in Russia, including a correlation analysis of inflation with other important macroeconomic indicators. The theoretical basis of inflation targeting is revealed. The problem of choosing the nominal anchor of monetary policy and the impact of the inflation targeting policy on the financial results and financial condition of the Central Bank is considered.
