Resumo: Saving is essential for everyone, as it makes it easier to create financial support to face emergencies or specific goals. The National Bank of Mexico defines savings as the monetary amount that people have over their expenses. This practice must be carried out every day to guarantee a healthy and calm financial future. The population that decides to save does so to cover the following purposes: 1) emergencies or unforeseen events in the event of illness or accidents, 2) specific goals, such as payment of tuition, vacations, asset acquisitions or any necessary material goods, and 3) To the Retirement Savings Fund, that is, money destined to pay for a healthy, calm and carefree old age, once the time for retirement has arrived, in accordance with current regulations. Saving to maintain a lifestyle that meets expectations at the time of workers' retirement is a priority issue that must be addressed on time and with good planning. In order to support the population both affiliated to an AFORE and independent, CONSAR enabled the Databases with pertinent information and technological tools, so that the beneficiaries can, by means of a calculator, know how much they have access to pension, once the time for retirement comes.
