Resumo: Indigenous communities are nucleus of touristic attractiveness due its partner-cultural and historical dynamics. Thus, the main objective of this article is to show a critical analysis on the representativeness of indigenous culture and then to check the possibilities of promotion of tourism in the ethnic territories identified in Mato Grosso do Sul, Brazil. The methodological procedures were based on theories and documentary and also contextualization practice through experience lived in scientific-cultural contact in the territories of indigenous communities at Reserva Indígena Kadiwéu located in Mato Grosso do Sul. The partial results indicate that the speech that if disclose in this article it searched to present as such groupings characterize the development of the tourism with sights the collaborative insertion for the planning of the activity have seen that it is basic to take in consideration the expectations of the communities, in case that contrary, little possibility of success will have all and any process of development that disrespects the endogenous factors.
