Resumo: Tourism is one of the most important sectors of economic activity and with the greatest growth potentials. 'Accessible tourism for all' assumes that one can travel to destinations where products and tourist information are suitable for all those with special accessibility needs, their families and friends. The implementation of accessibility is transversal to all areas of society: tourism facilities and services, construction projects, transportation modes, communication and information systems and services.In this perspective, it is the objective of this article to establish 'tourism for all' based on planning philosophy design for all that has been focused on the design of the built environment with products and services, so that all can participate equally in community life. The aim is to analyze the opportunities and challenges, trends and opportunities of tourism for all based on the study developed in Germany, extrapolating the conclusions obtained from the Portuguese territory, in improving the quality of tourism products and services.
