Resumo: The evolution of the Economy over the years has changed the society's way of life. A strong trend towards the Experience Economy demonstrates the current arrangement, in which the search for experiences is considered a new economic and social paradigm. Tourism as a socio-economic activity follows this trend, evidenced by its changes in public policies, organizations, technology and culture.This work aims to describe the articulation of tourism in the Economy of Experience, focusing on the sustainable and cultural component. As a method, a review of the literature was developed, based on the themes of economy of experience, tourism and culture. Through an empirical research, it is presented an identication and characterization of the Airbnb Experiences products in the city of Coimbra, Portugal. Finally, a survey is applied to the providers of these services, for a qualitative analysis of its articulation. As a result, it was veried that Airbnb Experience is promoted by members of the local community who advertise on the platform and articulate the planning and management of this socio-economic activity based on the rules of Airbnb, aiming to oer to the tourists an authentic experience.
