Resumo: The food market is multiple, dynamic and competitive, and is influenced by various objective and subjective factors, concerning both daily and hedonic meals. In this regard, market analysis is of paramount importance to guide entrepreneurs and all those who want a better understanding of the food sector. This article, prepared based on a bibliographical and documentary research, focuses on ‘Brazil Food Trends 2020’ report (FIESP & ITAL, 2010), which identifies trends for the Brazilian food market and organizes them in five categories, looking for matches in the tourism context. Results show that all such trends are applicable to national tourism supply, especially ’sensuousness and pleasure’, in which the relationship with tourism is treated explicitly.
