Resumo: Community frameworks are a strong incentive for territorial development and are based on factors of innovation and modernization, human resources’ qualification and territorial enhancement. They are based on environmental concerns and sustainability issues, on the immaterial factors of competitiveness of companies and territories.In this specific case, we intend to contribute to the QREN, which could be an opportunity to deepen the experiences of the previous Community Support Framework. The objective is to contribute to consolidate the path of sustainable tourism development, within the scope of the future QREN, through three lines of action that we understand as fundamentals: the creation of a label associated with good sustainable tourism practices, and applicable to different typologies of projects and initiatives; Information / training by providing more information and promoting trainings to potential supporters; and finally, the articulation between sectoral and institutional funding sources, in order to bring together the different sources and financing systems that can be defined for the strategic priority objectives of territorial development.
