Resumo: The Thesis, in the intersection of education, travel and tourism, approaches learning, formation and education experiences by travels, in order to contribute for the teacher’s formation and of the professional as well as of the travelers confronted to other cultures and a possible (trans) formation of themselves, through a multirreferencial approach in the perspective of a methodological bricolage. Reflections are presented of some studious of the area that emphasize the relevance of travels in the subject’s transformation, emphasizing the fundamental role of travels in the Investigations, the one with scientific character and the ones of itself. Those reflections drive, through a “history of curiosity”, to theperception of the historical evolution of the systemization and organization of the knowledge trips during the previous centuries, especially from the 16th to de 19th centuries, that promoted the constitution of the methodology of the social sciences as we know in the 21st century. But, beyond that scientific character, travels have a considerable role, maybe even indispensable, in subtler and deep aspects for each human being. The behavior of the subjects, by the confrontation with other subjects, people, cultures and places can be put in question and, like this, can contribute for the transformation of itself, through attitudes reflected that allow a sustainable behavior.
