Resumo: With the advance of contemporary urbanization, tourism assumes an urban logic increasingly expressive, being appropriate to conceptualize and operationalize it under the principles of 'urban hospitality.' By this assumption, theoretical and methodological connections between mobility and hospitality could be employed as a key to understand various manifestations of tourism and hospitality itself. In this way, this essay aims to identify, organize and discuss elements from the scientific production in tourism in Brazil, which, even in a panoramic and preliminary way, could guide future research on the subject. From a methodological point of view, a survey was conducted using the terms 'mobility' and 'urban hospitality', followed by an analysis of the literature available from tourism journals in Brazil. For now, there seems to be limited convergence between mobility and hospitality, which may stimulate new research on the crossroads of tourism mobilities and urban hospitality.
