Resumo: Business Tourism has a significant weight in the global tourism revenue. It corresponds to a segment with great potential for development and it should be viewed not only as another product of a tourism destination, but also as a key product and promoter of other tourism products. Organizational structures called Convention & Visitors Bureaux (CVB) play a key role in the promotion and projection of the territory as a business tourism destination. One of its purposes is the organization and promotion of accommodation and meeting venues (and other events) that exist in the territory where they are located and also leisure and entertainment activities. The purpose of this paper is to present the perspective of a panel of experts (Delphi panel) on the main strategies concerning the development of Business Tourism in the central coast of Portugal and the creation of a CVB in this territory.
