Resumo: In the last several years, there has been an increasing interest in the field of tourism research, a dynamic, particularly complex sector where the use of available temporary series proves to be especially difficult. Relevant sign extractions, as well as predictions of future behavior of tourism figures, take on special significance. The purpose of this project is to carry out a comparison between traditional and bayesian sign extraction methods, thus applying empirical analysis to the tourist series which best represent all provinces in the region of Castilla-La Mancha. Other studies on this subject have commonly tackled the analysis of these temporary series at international, national and regional levels. it is for this reason that, when dealing with separate provinces, the data show bigger fluctuations and different behavioral patterns, making modelling and future prediction more complex.
