Resumo: Despite the existence of a lack of any general policy in the field of cultural tourism, a number of different actions have been developed. These actions try to take advantage of a raising cultural stream affecting local economies. However, promoting alliances and original solutions is still required in areas where objects of cultural interest are scarce. In the Region of Murcia, e.g., a derivation of activities from the coast and consolidated tourist centres to other areas is boosting the solutions mentioned above.
