Resumo: Rural tourism has turned in the last years into the engine that generates additional revenues to the obtained ones in the primary sector. It is the way in order that the Serranía of Cuenca goes out of its stagnation and joins to the progress, but only that, a possible way. The tourism never has to be, of exclusive form, the engine of the rural development. On the contrary, it has to join with the rest of economic activities, giving place to a productive diversification of the region.
