Resumo: In this study we assess the effect of incoming visitors to recreational areas in Calasparra (Murcia, Spain), and the relationship between public use of natural landscape and the environmental impact caused by visitors. A management plan is proposed for tourism, based on sustained ecological development that could be considered as an plausible alternative for local development.
