Resumo: Rural tourism is becoming one of the most attractive tourist products for the demand as well as a complementary factor of the income of the rural population. Such aspects make rural tourism be stimated in the development policies of international, national and regional administrations.
In this paper we analyze how tourist is regarded in the rural environment in the European Union for the regional development. Aftermads we will compare such policies with regard to the northwest of the Murcia Region.
