Resumo: The Fair of Albacete took advantage initially of the excellent location of the city. At first, it had a cattle origin, completed with the tools and with the presence of related trades. In the course of time it remained located in a singular, circular, functional and vernacular building, typical of La Mancha architecture, turning into one of the four national fairs with permanent emplacement. At present it is eminently leisure event, although it still presents traditional rites. The diversity of activities and their important economic meaning has contributed to its declaration as Tourist International Interest. This fair has been catalogued «Fair of fairs» for constituting an economic important activity for the city and being a fair organized by its own inhabitants across the Participative and Civil Forum.
