Resumo: In spite of the changes produced by the information technologies and internet in the tourism sector, the forecasts point out a new revolution produced by the introduction of robots, artificial intelligence and virtual reality in the tourist industries. Currenly, the adoption of these technologies is in their infancy but the research carried out in other sectors suggests that they also could have a great impact on the tourism.
