Resumo: The intervention of the social enterprises in Protected Natural Areas can be opportune for the integration of the local development and the conservation of the biodiversity. There were analyzed the experiences of four cooperatives in the Ría Lagartos Biosphere Reserve, in Yucatán, from a perspective constructivist at the complex systems, with base in interviews of depth and indicators of sustainability. This allowed knowing the processes of sustainable performance that they develop. The participation of new generations and the entail with other cooperatives they contribute in the decrease of the environmental impact of his activities, favoring his growth and permanency in the time.
