Resumo: Adventure tourism is considered one of the most important and popular choices in world tourism. Adventure parks are one example of this kind of successful growing industry that is particularly blooming in Costa Rica, Mexico and Peru. Adventure tourists want to experience emotions that go hand in hand with physical activity. At the same time, they seek to be in touch with nature while they practice adrenaline sports. In the municipality of Urique, state of Chihuahua, Mexico, tourists can find the “Parque de Aventura Barrancas del Cobre” (Copper Canyon Adventure Park). This location had selected as a subject for case studies due to its essential characteristics that attract the constant and repeated visits of tourists to the site. Their opinions and perceptions make this place attractive for further examination. The purpose of this paper is to obtain information for the help and understanding of adventure tourist and the relationship with the concepts of expectation, satisfaction and travel experience, within the frameworks of interpersonal interaction, as well as knowing the general functioning of an adventure park and the roles that guides play. A participation and direct activity was carry out.
