Resumo: In Baja California, an important point of reference is registered in grape production and its industrialization to obtain wine.In recent years this area of vineyards has been consolidating as a destination of interest for visitors and tourists.Wine tasting activities of the region, restaurant and food service, and crafts are identified, placing it now as the Ruta del Vino (Colef, 2013). In this context, the promotion and growth of tourism activity, brings with it the growing presence of visitors, who demand food, water, transportation and who in turn generate waste and waste. In this position, the article addresses the analysis of wine tourism, identifying its activities and their effects, in the Ensenada region, to review this type of tourism, under the Good Tourism Practices approach. In the results it is possible to identify an incipient incorporation to these Good Tourism Practices. The present work is derived from a more extensive work that had the general objective of identifying the Good Practices of Oenological Tourism in the Valley of Guadalupe, Ensenada, Baja California, Mexico. The scope of the research is defined as exploratory, descriptive, attempting to investigate the subject from a novel perspective, with little background in research and treatment, specifying the properties and characteristics of the situation and groups to study the chosen phenomenon (Sampieri et al., 2006). The research work from which this article derives was based on a qualitative methodology of the faith-nomenological type that, according to Creswell (1998), aims to describe and understand the phenomena from the point of view of each participant and from the perspective that is built collectively; In addition, it is based on discourse analysis. The methodology used was qualitative, descriptive and cross-sectional. For data collection, the semi-structured interview technique applied to fourteen wine companies in the region was used, of the 119 registered in 2017 on the official website of the Ministry of Tourism of the State of Baja California (SECTURE, 2017 ). The data analysis was developed using the IT tool ATLAS TI. One of the fundamental conclusions is that the follow-up of Good Practices in wine tourism points to the need to strengthen the wine culture in Valle de Guadalupe.
