Resumo: As tourism will soon reach two digits in the global gross domestic product, and as in Mexico, its productive links have repercussions on spatial dynamics and localities, this scientific article has the objective of elaborating some cartograms of places filmed in Mexico, and thus document the film strengths of each State of the Mexican Republic to provide elements and characterize the course that could be followed by the different tourist agendas of the federation. Then, the methodological treatment is an approximation to the Big Data phenomenon, since it was investigated a in corpus of four million cinematographic titles. The most important results, by film genre, we observe that the top 10 of Mexican cinematographic locations is varied, for example, in the history genre, highlights the State of Sonora, in documentary genre, highlights the State of Oaxaca.
