Resumo: The objective of this study consists on analyzing the incidence of the Resource Reallocation Coordination Agreements -CCRR- on the tourist performance of selected tourist destinations: Magic Towns, Heritage Cities and beaches. Tourist performance was defined as the success that has a tourist destination when citizens and companies are pleased with their community, and when the locality in question achieves visitors and investors' expectations. To calculate the impact of CCRR on the tourist performance it was necessary a dependent variable, in this case the Tourist Performance Index; and as independent variables were considered both projects and monetary government support. Afterwards, the Tourist Performance Index was calculated through the principal component analysistechnique, which includes seven dimensions for its integration: 1) conditions for tourism in the destination, 2) strategic planning and sustainability, 3) operation, 4) results, 5) satisfaction, 6) governance and 7) security.Having calculated the IDT, it was modeled the analysis of CCRR impact on IDT through econometric regressions which principal result conclude that CCRR had a positive impact on improving the IDT during the recent ten years, mainly in the tourist vocation of destinations and the decline of social backwardness.
