Resumo: To analyze the cultural attractions, three types of authenticity were chosen; the real or staging authenticity, the sensorial authenticity and the existential authenticity. A group of students from de EAN University, of Bogotá, were part of this study, in order to know their experiences regarding the objects and the authentic places they have visited of the different cultural attractions of Bogotá and surroundings. The discussion that involved that focus group allowed to know and analyzing the concept and knowledge about and the cultural attractions and the belief they have. The results of this study show there is still a kind of confusion of culture concept among the students and the meaning of authenticity changes depending on the person gender
