Resumo: In recent decades the mining heritage has become increasingly important from the standpoint of its social value as well as from tourism activities, while the need arose to conserve and protect geodiversity and biodiversity counterpart. For this strategy to preserve and enhance the value spaces geomining resources are designed. Thus arose the so-called geo-mining parks, which are transformed into valuable tools for preservation, conservation and use of these spaces in most cases mate with significant levels of degradation. The aim of this paper is to present a preliminary diagnosis to lay the foundations of a geo-mining park in a city of Argentina for preservation and promotion of the so called geotourism.
