Resumo: The process appears for the development of a tourist product, with two forms of management that in Colombia don’t develop together; solidary and community tourism, being these similar since they generate an economic development of the populations with high indexes NBI (basic unsatisfied needs) and promote the conservation and preservation of the cultural and natural heritage. For the development of the study two methodologies were in use, Exploratory being the solidary tourism, a topic little studied in Colombia and descriptive, since there were analyzed characteristics of the selected communities. Is observed that a population exists with NBI high indexes and with interest to overcome them taking advantage of his natural and cultural wealth and a demand interested in reaching in projects that they benefit to others.
